Director M dot Strange (San Jose, CA) makes filmmaking history as the ultimate animation auteur acting as Writer/ Director/ Animator/ Compositor/ Visual FX artist/ Composer/ Mixer as well every other production task. In creating every frame in the entire 94-minute feature film Strange stands alone as a one-man animation studio.
With no formal training M dot Strange instantly asserts himself as a one-man production powerhouse with his trademark "Str8nime" style. Str8nime is a bold and vivid new style that is a mixture of Strangeness, 8-bit videogame culture, and Japanese Anime.
“He (M dot Strange) represents a new paradigm of filmmaking that could have a profound effect on the traditional model of film production, distribution and animation.” ~ David Carr, New York Times
