Spazz.jpg

Based out of Los Angeles, graphic designer, Illustrator and Flash animator Spazz has been honing his craft since he drew his first Kiss masks when he was in grade four.

Having opened a skate shop in Toronto, in 1993, Spazz designed skate and snowboard clothes which he distributed across Canada and internationally. Spazz also hosted the first snowboard contest in Toronto, at a hill where snowboarding was not even allowed until two years later. The contest ran successfully for five years.

Spazz moved to LA last year to pursue his illustration career and skate year round. With a nod to graffiti, skateboarding, 70's kitsch, volouptuos babes, hot cars and varied cultures, Spazz's styles are definably unique.

Often using friends as inspiration, Spazz's boldly colorful, expressive tight designs reflect his passion for fun living. 2000 saw Spazz hooking up with several interesting collaborations, and clients. He toured his art across the U.S. with the Ritual Expo, a dj, culture, fashion and art collective.

Working closely with Ritual Events, Spazz will be defining their visuals for 2001. Spazz has done everything from CD design, magazine editorial illustrations, flash animation to skateboard graphics and web sites.

2000 was the first year Spazz took his digital images to canvas.

Currently, Spazz is working on a flash segment for KRS-One, a canvas collection  for his 2001 tour and a mounted digital show at Decades in LA. He will also be featured in next month's PDN Pix magazine (out of NY),

Anno Domini is proud to host the first Spazz solo show 04.06.01. before he goes on to Berlin to show at The Flying Piston Gallery later this year.

Spinnin' for Spazz will be LA's DJ Dusk!
